I humbly accept runner-up status. I would like to thank the members of the Academy and of course, you, the fans, who make it all worthwhile. Really, it was an honor just to be nominated. Thank you.
Congratulations to the winner!
Also, let's congratulate Tony Feher...moving up after 10 years with the same gallery (NYT-Inside Art, today).
mls
...toooo much, toooo sweet,xxx mua!
So, mls, is Tony Feher moving along according to your timeline? After 10 years with D'Amelio he moves to Pace/D'Amelio?
If he hadn't moved, would his career have been stalled?
Congratulations to Tony. But I must say, this doesn't seem like the artist moving up. It's more like the gallery moving up, in order to preempt the artist moving up on his own.
Congratulations, Tony, and thanks all you crazy artblog people out there in artblog land for your kind support! Considering the number and quality of the entries, this is indeed an honor. If you see me at Pulse this Friday don't be a stranger.

nother good one Bill! You desrve it!
Wow, does Tony Feher read this blog?
Is that artist sharing deal all that new? Isnt it just a different version of a bicoastal setup?
And how bout that Alaina Heiss article?
It seems to me the Feher deal ties in with Heiss' concern. It seems he would be taking advantage of Pace's collector base while not forgetting the peeps who supported him and worked with him. Its still mostly bout da art, which is why he still be one of my art heroes!
bill, will we recognize you from your picture here?
Hey Bill's the man, and Tony is the 'message in the bottle'.
Always been a fan of Feher. Tuttle said early on in his career that it became fully apparent to him that trying to go up any further wasn't going to get him anywhere, and the obvious choice was to go horizontal and work that. I guess Feher is kind of the opposite: He's started from the horizontal, and having that clearly stated, kinda just lets that whole logic drop. It's all vertical again deploying a horizontal history. I guess art is truly about poetics. Otherwise a bottle is really just one of many in or out of a crate.
So, Edward, are you going to print up any of these bumper stickers? I for one would buy one. The world needs more visible humor.
Hooray, Bill and Oriane! Oriane is my friend! I have smart friends! Hooray!
