Who Spiked My Seltzer?
Shhhh...my cerebral cortex is throbbing....
Just a quick, hazy shout out to all the brave folks who trudged their way across the jungle of West, west, Chelsea last night. Bambino and I had a really excellent time hanging with you all. AFC has the quasi-Entertainment Tonight-esque round up (I might just disagree with her assessment of everyone except João though, ...I'll know for sure when the Motrin kicks in). Paddy doesn't seem to have met the folks behind a half dozen other excellent art blogs, mind you, but who can blame her? I'm still not sure who that one guy was....
A-n-y-w-a-y, in no particular order (and I really hope I'm not unduly outing anyone here...or forgetting anyone), thanks to Tyler at MAN, João at Notes and Queries, Todd at From the Floor, Todd at Gallery Hopper, Felix and Michelle, MTAA/MTAA-RR, Andrea "Sloth" of Log World and Adam, James and Barry, Dennis and Ken , Mike at MAO and Mike and Eric at We Like Sheep, Dan and Patrick, Brent at Heart as Arena, Chris at NYC Art, Tom, and of course, the lovely Paddy at Art Fag City.

It's true - I met a fraction of the people who attended the meet-up. What can I say, I can only report on those I met!
Thanks for hosting, it was totally fun. Hope to see you around.
I had a great time. Thank you each of you for coming. Hope to see again soon.
Someone should post their impression of Paddy. I'm curious to know if she's taller or less fashionable than I imagine.
Sounds like a happening event! Cheers, all - B
Thanks for hosting!
Bill,
We'll definitely plan more in advance next time so folks who live outside the city can plan to attend.
Anonymous,
Paddy is just as charming and witty in person as you expect her to be from her blog. Perhaps a bit more bashful than you would expect, but in an endearing way.
Was it a meet-up or drink-up? Damn, I had to catch the train! Nancy Baker's paintings look great though.
Thanks for putting this thing together. Good time all around, sorry I had to step out early and didn't get too many folks. Have to do it again!
Edward! Great shin-dig, really interesting & smart crowd... we enjoyed it immensely... thank you!
kind of a meet-up with drinks, Mark. Sorry I missed you in the gallery...thanks for the kind words about Nancy's work.
Todd, most definitely.
Sloth and every one, it was entirely our pleasure...can't wait for the next time.
Sorry I missed it. I finished my paper mache Edna head in time, but could not find a purple leotard to wear underneath.
Sorry to have missed it, too. Hopefully, they'll be another in the future.
