Artists Survey

UPDATE: Don't miss this wondeful piece on Jen and her husband Wellington's house in Williamsburg in Sunday's New York Times. You get to hear them describe the joys of renovation in an audio piece, and see some photos of them and their adorable son Oliver, as well.

Calling all artists: Please consider helping out a fellow artist by participating in a short survey.

Jennifer Dalton (yes, from our gallery) is polling visual artists for an upcoming project titled "How Do Artists Live?"

If you don't know Jen's work, this Artforum review provides a good summary of the type of works she's known for. Also, as noted in the Gallery Highlights column to the right, Jen's work is included in the prestigious line-up for the "Superstars" exhibition at Kunsthalle in Vienna this fall.

The survey is for artists only please, and it's totally anonymous, so if you've got a few moments to spare, please check it out. Here's how Jen explains the goals of this project:

My dear fellow artists,

I want to know how artists live!

Please click on the link below to complete a very short *anonymous* survey about your lifestyle. I will use the results in an upcoming project about the life of the contemporary artist:

How Do Artists Live?

Please forward this to your artist friends & post it on your blogs! The survey will be available online for approximately 3 weeks, then I'm going to close it down & start tabulating results.

Thank you very much for your participation!

Jen

And fellow bloggers, please consider directing your artist readers to the survey as well.

Many thanks, e.
